In Loving Memory of Brother Ricky Lee Gleen
We, the members of Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church, Aliquippa, PA send our love and condolences to you during this time of mourning and the loss of your loved one. During this difficult time, we commend you to the capable hands of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. God’s word reminds us that He is a very present help.
The tie that binds your loved one and us together blesses us. We celebrate with you their life. Know that death is not an end, but a transition to a place free of pain and suffering. The word of God reminds us in 2nd Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought a good fight, finished the course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.”
As you walk through this valley of the shadow of death, find comfort in the sweet memories of your loved one. Know that God loaned your loved one to you for many years and has now afforded them a home on high. Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
We believe the words of Jesus in John 14 that encourages us to “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you;”
We bow in humble submission to Him who never makes a mistake and extend words of encouragement to the family in their time of sorrow. We know your loss is deep, and your sorrow is great, but we want you to know that we share in your sorrow, but most importantly, we recognize that this loss is Heaven’s Gain.
