Parthenia Helen Dogan Glenn, 86 of 110 Arbor Road, Jonesville, SC entered eternal rest Friday morning, January 5, 2018 in Union Medical Center. A native of Union County, SC, she was the widow of Bomar Glenn and the daughter of the late Robert Lee Dogan and Cary Bell Spears Dogan. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, John Wesley Glenn, III; two sisters, Seretha A. Dogan Young and Rovanna Dogan (infant); and one brother, Thomas Morgan. She was a 1950 graduate of Sims High School and received her nursing credentials from the Cherokee Area School of Nursing. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church Jonesville, SC and was retired from Wallace Thompson Hospital as an LPN. She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Glenn Curenton of Jonesville, SC; grandchildren, Marion Angelique Glenn of Columbia, SC and Aaron T. Glenn, Adrienne T. Glenn, Eric L. Glenn, and Candace S. Suber all of Jonesville, SC; one sister, Eugenia G. Foster, Jonesville, SC, one brother, Evon W. Dogan of KS; brother-in-law , O'Neal Glenn (Margaret) of Chester, SC; sister-in-law, Annie Lou Glenn of Jonesville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.Funeral services will be held 3:00 p. m. Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Bethany Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Community Mortuary and at other times at the home.Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
