Shirley Ann Dill Worthy, 74, of 257 North Irwin Avenue, Spartanburg, SC passed Saturday evening, June 2, 2018 at her residence. A native of Spartanburg, SC, she was the widow of Harold Benjamin Worthy and the daughter of the Dorothy Mae Coleman Dill and the late Clarence Dill, Sr. She was a former District 7 Teacher's Aide and Bus Driver. Shirley received her Associates Degree from Spartanburg Methodist College. In addition to her husband and father, she is preceded in death by one sister, Ellen Dill Wilkes. Survivors include: two sons, Roderick Worthy and Todd Worthy both of Spartanburg, SC; two nieces reared in the home, Alicia (Pernell) Parks of Spartanburg, SC and Delane (Alvin) Collins of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Clarence "Bill" Dill, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC and William Phillips of Jacksonville, FL; one aunt, Julia Coleman Kelly of Spartanburg, SC; two nephews, Warren Wilkes and Travis Wilkins of Spartanburg, SC; three grandchildren, Nia Haven Worthy, Lanora Charmaine Parks and Xavier Parks; one great-grandchild, Lafayette Bishop Baker; two god-grandsons, Asher Vandergriff and Adin McCravy; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Community Mortuary Chapel. Arrangements are with Community Mortuary, 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg SC.
