Antuwan Marquise Shippy, son of Warren Shippy and Angela Kershaw, was born in Spartanburg County, SC on Sunday, April 27, 1997. He was taken from this this to an eternal life on Thursday, February 7, 2019 in Spartanburg Medical Center. Antuwan was a 2015 graduate of Broome High School. He leave a multitude of cherished and precious memories to his parents, Warren and Angela of the home; one brother, Tyler Shippy of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Zaporcsha Shippy and Warnesha Shippy both of Gaffney, SC; one nephew, Marcus Dawkins, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Mary Hoover of Charlotte, NC; paternal grandfather, Andrew Thomas; maternal grandparents, Roosevelt and Joella Hardy of Pacolet, SC; maternal grandfather, Tommy Neal Wilks; maternal great-grandmother, Ollie Mae Hardy of Pacolet, SC; godmother, Willette Hardy of Pacolet; two special aunts, Lachandro Kershaw and Twanna Brandon; and a host of uncles, other aunts, cousins and other family and friends including a special friend, Brandon Jeter. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Green Bethel Baptist Church FLC, 3125 Cowpens Pacolet Road, Spartanburg, SC. Burial will follow in Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 South Church Street Extension, Roebuck, SC. The Family will receive friends at the home. Public viewing will begin Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the body is placed in the church.
