James Franklin "Pete" Littlejohn, 78, of 2205 Wood Leaf Road Salisbury, NC was born December 17, 1940. A native of Kelton, South Carolina. He relocated to reside and complete his high school education in North Carolina. He was the son of the late Helen “Big Rib” Littlejohn and Celestine Spears Littlejohn. He was predeceased by his parents, two step-sons: Lonnie Miller and Calvin Miller; and one god-sister, Jeanette Littlejohn.
A Life Well Spent
He was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and a retired working from the Underground Construction. He completed his education from North Carolina school. He was a dad, brother, uncle, cousin and true friend to many, we may not call you by name, but one thing for sure the seed Pete planted in your life will continue to grow forever. So, always remember the love Pete gave will be expected for you to spread your love to others, continuously. Over his life journey he has travels various states from his childhood state of South Carolina to North Carolina to finish his education. But travel for him did not stop there so he ventured out to Virginia, Washington, and return to North Carolina for his eternal rest. A loyal and faithful die heart fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He lived life to the fullest. His expression of love was shown through his actions and his verbal phases was to many was unique in every way. Do you remember these words from a humble and loving man who will take care of his family as well as his friends near and far? I will take care of it. Simple and you fill in the blank. You’re a pointer and sitter. You just rallying. You trying to play on my intelligence. You’re trip and a vacation. You ain’t going nowhere? TuT.
Pete entered eternal rest on March 18, 2019 at his residence. He was strong will til the end. He shared with so many people his love, his time, and his hard-earned money to his children, siblings, extended family and friends.

Wyonnia Littlejohn McKissick of Spartanburg, SC, Lula Bell Littlejohn of Union, SC, Lillie "(Penny" Smith (Johnny) of , Jonesville, SC, Rev. Shirley L. Browning (Gonzlee), Paulette L.
