James Bryant

James Anthony Bryant was born in Spartanburg, SC on December 21, 1964. He was the husband of Katrina Hill Bryant and son of the late Charles D. Bryant and Viola Hollis Bryant. He departed this earthly life on Monday, February 23, 2026, at his residence.

James was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, class of 1983. He earned his living as a self-employed general contractor.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a beloved niece, Dominique Bryant.  

He leaves precious memories to his beloved wife of thirty years, Katrina Bryant; sons, Jamison (Amanda) Lewis, Antonio Bryant; daughter, Tyia Bryant; six grandchildren; god-daughters, Alexis McCollum of Pittsburg, PA and Ashley McCollum of Clemson, SC; brothers, Marvin (Nicole) Bryant, Douglas L. Bryant, Sentelle Bryant, and Doug Bryant; sister, Cheryl (Anthony) Dawkins; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, co-workers, and friends all of whom will miss him dearly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary Inc. 102 Marion Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
