Roosevelt "Henry" Stevens

Roosevelt Stevens, 72, of Union, SC, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. A native of Union, SC he was the son of the late Charner Stevens, Sr. and Mable Jeter Stevens.

Roosevelt was a graduate of Union High School, class of 1972. He dedicated many years as lead machine operator at Executive Knits. Roosevelt was known to others as “Henry”.

In addition to his parents, Roosevelt was preceded in death by three brothers, Charner Stevens, Jr., Roy Stevens, and David Stevens.

Left to cherish precious and fond memories are his sisters, Millie Young, and Mary Stevens; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends in the community all of whom will miss him dearly.  

The family will receive friends at 301 N. Evans Street Union, SC and 177 Tim's Drive Jonesville, SC. Arrangements have been entrusted to Community Mortuary Inc., 361 Meansville Road, Union, SC.
